Poetry Chapbook Competition
Guidelines & Information for 2008
The postmark deadline for entries to the 2008
National Poetry Chapbook Competition is JUNE 30, 2008.
To enter, submit 20-28 paginated pages of poetry, in a
readable font, table of contents, acknowledgments, bio,
email for results (No SASE), and a $10.00 non-refundable
fee for each manuscript entered. All manuscripts will be
recycled. The winner of the competition will
receive $100.00 plus 25 complementary copies of his or
her chapbook. The competition winner will
be announced online at our website
http://www.trs-pr.com on September 1,
2008. The judge's decision is final.
Multiple submissions are acceptable. Simultaneous
submissions are acceptable, but if your manuscript is
accepted for publication elsewhere you must notify
TRS Press
immediately. Entry fees are non-refundable. Revisions
are not accepted, should the situation arise, a new,
revised, manuscript may be submitted along with a
new entry fee. Writers' names should not appear anywhere
on the manuscript. Please include your name and
biographical information in a separate cover letter.
Please be certain to include your email address. Judging will
be anonymous.
