I
have been a life long resident of Charleston, West
Virginia. I attended Marshall University where I
obtained my BA degree in Speech Therapy. I also attended
WVCOGS where I obtained a MA in Learning Disabilities. I
am currently a Speech/Language Pathologist at Grandview
Elementary in Charleston. I gained an interest in
reading poetry while at Charleston High School, and
started writing poetry after graduating from college.
Writing poetry is a creative endeavor I enjoyed perusing
on a regular basis. My other hobbies include traveling
and yoga. |

NATURE
I walked along the garden path
It’s winding aisles in glow
A beautiful aspiring arching way
It’s God’s great picture show
I walked along the beach today
The waves so pure when sprayed
The ebbing tides of water clear
God’s beauty on display
I walked inside the forest green
It’s beauty to behold
Leaves among the moss unfurled
Muted colors of yellow, red and gold
God’s beauty is everywhere
In forest, lake and stream
Just open your eyes, your ears and your heart
To His glorious, gorgeous dream.
