 I,
Amanda Gail Fields, was born at Point Pleasant Valley
Hospital in Point Pleasant, WVa in 1980. I was raised
out back of a little town called Hartford (WV). I
attended Wahama High School and graduated from there in
1999. I attended some college in Gallipolis, OH. I have
lived in several places though including Columbus, OH;
Mt. Gilead, OH; Boomer, WV; and in Virginia. I love to
travel and take road trips because the scenery in every
state has it's own beauty and style. I am currently
working in Montgomery at the General Hospital there on
the Extended Care Unit as an RCNA. |

love"
I hold your love within my soul
Tho' no one sees my soul (but One).
The soul is the deepest part
Of this body's ocean-
Our hearts are an ocean of secrets
But even beyond that
Our soul is pure place-
That's why I keep your love there-
It will be safe-
How will I ever show it-
How will anyone know how I feel-
How will I tell you that-
I hold your love within my soul.
"Future"
Sometimes- we think so much
Of what we wish for in the future
That makes us forget about now.
But now determines our future.
Oh it's easy to wish
For so much to gain,
But we shouldn't wish time away.
Because in time we learn-
We learn so much about life
About love, trust, patience-
We learn about life
Through each passing day-
We take the joys and sorrows
Ups and downs-
And learn from them-
That makes up our Future.
"Now and Again"
The glow of the lightening bug
Warms my heart
To country nights at home-
Where I use to catch them
In a jar as a child.
Running barefoot around the yard,
Mom and dad sitting on the porch,
The stars smiling at me,
The dog howling at the moon,
The little stream running by,
The sounds of the night with
The frogs and peepers calling out,
The cat yawning as it stretches,
The sounds of home...
Where my heart and mind wander to...
